Gen Z English
English language evolves with each generation. Generation Z refers to people born between the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2010s. We usually shorten this to Gen Z, pronounced Gen ‘zed’ in British English and Gen ‘zee’ in American English.
As part of the ELTons this year (see my previous blog post about the ELTons), the British Council held an online Festival of Innovation. One of the festival sessions discussed the following Gen Z slang. Do you know what these words mean?
delulu
rizz
zaddy
zoomer
